Objectives: After this presentation participants will be able to:

1) Describe the difference

between grief and mourning,

2) State and six needs of mourning and methods to

assist children in meeting those needs,

3) Differentiate child and adult grief,

4) List appropriate

agencies for referral of children who are grieving.

Application for 1 Continuing Education Credit i nursing has been made.
