This day-long training will provide participants with information and

resources to:

·  Explore their own views about religion and identity and understand

how these views may impact their interactions with the clients;

·  Learn about major laws governing when and how religion and

religious materials can be used in a care giving facility and what

religious accommodations are allowed;

·  Find out about the basic beliefs, demographics and organization of

the major religious communities in the Omaha metropolitan area;

·  Receive best practices for making your organization or facility

inclusive of religious diversity;

·  Get connected with helpful print and web-based resources and

contacts.
