This is an email discussion group for Nebraska's families of children with special needs and those who support them.
How to join this email discussion group?
- Click on the link below to join. Enter your email address. You will get an email to confirm your subscription.
- Once you are signed up, you can start a discussion by sending an email to familytalk@lists.unl.edu. Your message will automatically be sent to everyone who is signed up for that email discussion group.
- You will also start to receive emails from other members of the group. You can reply to that email to participate in the discussion.
You will be happy to know that the Answers4Families has a privacy policy that protects your name and email from being shared with any other organizations or groups.

Email discussion group guidelines
In order to ensure that our discussion groups are useful to all participants, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines.
- You are within the group of intended participants
- You will use the discussion group primarily to exchange information relevant to the intended participants and to give and receive support
- You will minimize discussion of unrelated topics
- You will not send messages intended primarily to advertise a commercial product
- You will be respectful of other participants and avoid using language or discussing topics which may be offensive to others
- You realize that the information on the discussion group represents the ideas and opinions of other participants and does not represent the official view of the Answers4Families project or the University of Nebraska
- You realize that you can be removed from the discussion group if you do not follow these guidelines.
